All new users to Pressitt will have their first SMNR moderated; this first release will be queued and moderated by our editors for quality control purposes. If Pressitt's editors are not entirely happy with your release you will be contacted with suggestions to make your SMNR more suitable for Pressitt's audience and platform. Once you have passed this initial publication phase, all future SMNRs will be published automatically so long as they adhere to Pressitt guidelines and moderator quality control checks.

How do I register?
To register simply go to the registration page and enter your details.
How do I change my password?
Go to your profile page and on the right hand side you will see: 'Other stuff you can do'. Under that you will see: Change your password. Click here and input your old and new password accordingly.

How do I post a SMNR?
Posting a SMNR couldn't be simpler. After you've registered, go to your profile page and then the Create a SMNR page. Here you fill in the details of your story and add links to any relevant multimedia or third party sites / information, then publish.
What sort of information should I include in the SMNR?
Throughout the process, help boxes are available offering guidance to help you prepare your SMNR.
How long will my SMNR be on the Internet for?
Your SMNR will be available on the Internet until it is deleted from your profile page under: View, edit and delete your SMNR.
How do I add multimedia content to my SMNR?
To add multimedia to your SMNR, simply copy the url from the page that it is located on and paste that url into the space given within the 'create SMNR' section. A preview will be shown before you publish your SMNR.
Is it possible to change my SMNR once it is posted?
You can re-edit your release after you have released it by going to your profile page and choosing View, edit and delete your SMNR, then select the release you want to edit, make the edit then re-publish.
How do I make sure my SMNR is optimised and visible to search engines?
Make sure you have done your keyword research but do not stuff your SMNR with keywords.
The SMNR template on Pressitt has been designed and coded with search engine optimisation in mind. For example, the title of the release is in the URL, your company logo has the company name as an ALT tag and the release automatically builds the page meta-tags from the company name and release title. The template itself is coded to full W3C standards and is rated double-A for accessibility.
Who will read my SMNR?
The SMNR will stimulate social discussion. It can now be bookmarked, blogged about, Tweeted and socially shared. This creates conversation and opens your SMNR up to many more potential online audiences.
Can I specify the distribution date and time?
You cannot currently specify distribution times or dates, but we are working on it! However Pressitt automatically saves all your edits within the create a SMNR page, so that you can build your SMNR and add more information over time until your release date is finalised.
How I do remove a SMNR once it has been posted online?
Simply go to your profile page and select View, edit and delete your SMNR, then select and delete your chosen SMNR.
