Eurosport.com launches new version iPhone app, breaks 3 million download mark
Faster, easier, more content, greater interactivity and goal alerts—Europe’s leading sports app for the iPhone is now bigger and better, with news that Eurosport.com has launched a new version of its innovative free app.

Covering every major sporting event next year the app, downloaded over 3 million times since its launch in July 2009, has been updated and upgraded to include:

It is the only sports application available in 9 different language versions,* plus an international version available in any country in the world, and has been a resounding success, topping download lists in France, Germany, Italy and the UK.

As well as the innovative new version of the iPhone app, Eurosport announces a new Google Android V.2, available on here on Android Market. For the European launch of the Apple iPad in May, Eurosport was one of the first broadcasters to develop an app, which has subsequently become the most popular iPad app across Europe.
In addition to the group's news and live results app is the Eurosport Player app, which offers live streaming of Eurosport's channels on the iPhone. The premium service is currently available by subscription in the UK, Republic of Ireland, Germany and Austria with other geographic roll-outs under development.
