Fans of Comics and Games Descend on Lucca this November

Many of those booking villas in Tuscany for the first weekend of November are heading there to celebrate the world of Comics and Games.

To Tuscany, a British based company specialising in villas in Tuscany, are amongst a number of companies noticing a rise in bookings for the area around Lucca to coincide with the city hosting Lucca Comics and Games 2012, which runs from November 1st to November 4th.

The programme is still being finalised, but the event has become popular amongst fans of comics and games to meet in Tuscany to celebrate the world of comics, manga, role-playing games and video games. There are a wide number of events running alongside the main show, including exhibitions, contests and digital multiplayer tournaments.

Lucca Comics and Games began in 1966 and has grown in importance over the years. Since 2006 the convention has been held in the city centre, allowing visitors to enjoy the best of the comic world as well as the stunning architecture of this stunning city.
