Hotcow creates huge impact for Endemol’s programmes at MIPTV, Cannes, France

May 6 2010 - Endemol, the leading independent television production company, entertained and wowed programme buyers from around the world with a VIP invite to “Putting You In The Spotlight”, an explosive party experience created by London based experiential marketing agency Hotcow. During the event, guests were amazed by the array of activities and the stunning decor - which included a giant champagne bottle and a super-sized sofa. On show were Endemol’s key television programmes, The Marriage Ref, Extra Extra Small (XXS), The Age Game and 101 Ways To Leave A Gameshow. Each show brought its own dazzling spectacle to the party, from flamboyant cocktails to contorted mannequins and everywhere guests looked there was something to surprise and inspire them. This innovative approach to Endemol’s launch party by Hotcow, made “Putting You In The Spotlight” MIPTV’s most talked about event and enabled programme buyers to engage and interact with the shows on a completely different level. “We had a phenomenal response to the invites” says Endemol’s Camilla Valim “with double the amount of people wanting to attend. On the night we were over capacity by 65% - which was fantastic- with crowds evenly spread over the course of the evening.” By thrusting potential buyers into the centre of the shows, Hotcow created a massive impact for Endemol’s programmes to the industry’s most important buyers “With such an interactive experience, 100% of guests are likely to tell 1-4 people about the experience, giving 4 times the likelihood of a sale” says Sally Durcan, Hotcow MD. Such was the response to the event, Endemol has seen rapid increase in interest of the four key programs that were on show.
