Jolly Good Tours introduces groundbreaking innovations for its guided 2013 England tours & Ireland tours.

Jolly Good Tours 2013 Ireland tours & England tours, now online, feature a unique ‘T-Shirt Rebate’ scheme & a ‘Little Things’ solutions program both of which are designed to save Tour Buddies time & money.

More Information

The 'T-Shirt Rebate' Scheme.

Tour Buddies on Jolly Good Tours guided 2013 England tours & Ireland tours will be able to save money in what it believes is a unique scheme amongst tour operators. Called the 'T-Shirt Rebate' scheme it is short for 'Been there, done that, got the T-Shirt'. Often travelers who do Ireland tours & England tours want to return some time to do another tour. Inevitably some of the prepaid included visits the second time were included on the first tour. Jolly Good Tours research shows that many travelers do not return if they are pre-paying for a lot of visits that they have already done. On a two week tour it can amount to perhaps US$200+ per person.

For example the Roman Baths in Bath are on almost every tour of England with every tour operator. A traveler returning to do another tour will almost certainly find the Roman Baths as a prepaid included visit again. The Jolly Good Tours 'T-Shirt Rebate' scheme allows their Tour Buddies who don't want to visit the Roman Baths again to get much of the 'unused' admission charge rebated to them after the tour. The financial saving is only part of the benefit because the traveler will then not feel 'obliged' to do the visit again 'since they paid for it' thus giving them more time to enjoy the wonderful City of Bath in other ways.

The scheme is not confined to people who have 'been there, done that, got the T-Shirt' of course. It is proving very popular with grandparents & parents who are thinking of taking 'Johnny or Mary' on the 'Cool Graduation Tour' in June 2013. To save a bit of money the parents or grandparents can simply opt out of a visit leaving 'Johnny or Mary' to enjoy it with the group. Jolly Good Tours intends to make this scheme as flexible as possible. Each tour shows a list of visits where the 'T-Shirt Rebate' applies so all the traveler does is notify Jolly Good Tours before the tour starts & the rebate will apply after the tour.

The 'Little Things' Solution Program.

Jolly Good Tours believes that every second counts on a guided coach tour. Often it is the 'little things' that take up a lot of valuable time for the touring traveler, changing currency, doing laundry etc.. For Jolly Good Tours 2013 England tours & Ireland tours 'the postcard & postage stamp' issue has been mostly resolved. Postcards to mail home can be found & bought fairly easily. The big problem for touring travelers is then finding a post office to buy stamps, waiting in long queues (lines) to get to the counter to buy stamps, getting the right value of stamps for mailing to your country & getting the right value of stamps for the different sizes of postcards. Travelers on Ireland & Great Britain combo tours have to go through all this twice due to different currencies & postal systems.

From 2013 Jolly Good Tours Tour Buddies will find a selection of postcards pre-stamped for their home country in the welcome pack at the welcome reception on day 1 of the tour. This service will be included in the cost of the tour & will allow Tour Buddies to make a start with postcards from the get-go. During the tour the Tour Director (Guide.) will have available for purchase at cost relevant postcard stamps. For Jolly Good Tours Tour Buddies wasting time in Irish 'An Post' offices & UK Post Offices will be a thing of the past.

Quotes

The 'T-Shirt Rebate' is a big boon. It actually costs Jolly Good Tours nothing to operate & can save our Tour Buddies oodles of cash. Since I spend a lot of time with Tour Buddies in London at the end of tours I am hoping that the cash they save they will spend on maybe an extra night in London having more fun with us.

Lauren Ricci, (Penzance) Head of Jolly Good Tours UK & Ireland Ground Crew

Even though it gives me a little bit more work to do with organizing postage stamps it means that it is one less thing for my Tour Buddies to think about so they have more time to enjoy themselves. Hopefully we can do something similar with currency exchange. As for laundry ... hmm I wonder if they will get me doing everybody's washing at the laundramat!

Esmee Bakker, Tour Director, London.

Our flight was delayed 24 hours for the start of the Jolly Good Tours' autumn special so we missed some stuff but they managed to get us to Oxford by train from London for a couple of hours at the end of the tour so at least Charlene got to do Alice in Wonderland.

Bill C from Aurora, Colorado.

I was a bit nervous traveling on my own but Jolly Good Tours picked me up at airport and dropped me off at the airport at the end and looked after me the whole time in between. Loved it all but the free London Underground passes they give you are cool (I managed to get away from the group and meet some guys.) and the London open top bus was awesome too. The only thing I didn't like was the Guinness & Blackcurrant! Is that normal?
