ORLANDO, Fla.—November 7, 2011. Mic Check Productions, Inc. signed Orlando artist UnXpectedGift to its artist roster, making her the second artist signed to the artist development company.

UnXpectedGift, nèe Tiér Andréa, is a prolific writer, musician, poet and artist who performs freestyle poetry and spoken word. Originally from New York, UnXpectedGift relocated to Orlando in April of 2010 to pursue her dream of becoming a massage therapist. Having fulfilled that dream, she is now actualizing her other talents and gifts and has already established herself by performing at some of Orlando’s most popular poetry events such as Spoken Word Revolution.
