MindGames, creators of Tug of Mind, the world’s first iOS app which players control with their minds, announce their new mind-controlled release, W.I.L.D.
W.I.L.D., MindGames’ first entry in the gaming genre, is an adventure in which players navigate waking dreams by using their powers of meditation and attention. In order to tame the dream, you must tame your own mind. If successful, you will put out fires, bend spoons, and create galaxies with the power of your mind!
Designed for iPhone, iPad, and the Neurosky MindWave Mobile and PLX XWave headsets, W.I.L.D. is a cutting-edge challenge which enables you to train your relaxation and concentration skills.
Traveling from level to level, you train in vital skills that can improve your life. Need to relax before an important and difficult meeting? Need to improve your working efficiency and creativity? Need to be focused during exams? Need to stop being afraid of plane flights? Get W.I.L.D.!
How it works:
Players control what happens in W.I.L.D. using their levels of relaxation and concentration, which their brainwave headsets record from the electric field given off by the player's brain activity. This technology is none other than a simplified, portable version of EEG technology, which has been used to record patients' brain activity in hospitals since the early 20th century.
W.I.L.D. is the new mind-controlled video game for iPhone and iPad from MindGames. Players control the game with their mental states, using the NeuroSky MindWave Mobile or PLX Devices' XWave brainwave headsets.
MindGames is a three-year old company whose founders include an MIT-trained professor of artificial intelligence, an MIT-trained neuroscientist, and a yoga and meditation educator.
MindGames LLC, headquartered in Reykjavik, Iceland, is a pioneering developer of videogames which are controlled with the mind via portable consumer brain-computer interface devices such as NeuroSky's MindWave Mobile or PLX Devices' XWave. Although these consumer mass-market interfaces are cutting-edge, the science and technology behind them, electroencephalography, has been in use and development since 1924.
