SeaPort Airlines Opens Reservation Call Center in Memphis, Tennessee

(June 18th, 2012) –SeaPort Airlines today announced the opening of its new reservation sales and customer service call center located at Memphis International Airport in Memphis, Tennessee. 

Reservation Sales Agents will be available to answer calls 6:00am to 9:00pm in the Central Time Zone (4:00am to 7:00pm in the Pacific Time Zone), Monday through Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, agents will be available between the hours of 7:00am to 7:00pm in the Central Time Zone (5:00am to 5:00pm in the Pacific Time Zone). During hours that agents are not available, customers will be able to make reservations online at www.seaportairlines.com. The company plans to roll out an enhanced website in the coming weeks that will include new functionality allowing customers to change or cancel existing reservations without the need to speak to a Reservation Sales Agent.

“Previously, overflow volume and overnight calls were handled by a third party contractor. By bringing calls in house, we are able to ensure consistent delivery of the great service experience that we strive to provide and our customers have come to expect,” said Rob McKinney – President of SeaPort Airlines.

The new call center has been fully staffed and completed training last week. SeaPort Airlines anticipates that staffing levels will increase over the coming year as the result of planned expansion. This growth would be accommodated within SeaPort’s existing facility at Memphis International Airport, which has the capability to handle a 100% increase in call volume over those presently experienced.
