Monthly Mentorship Clinics will give Halton entrepreneurs and business leaders access to a panel of private business professionals with extensive experience in finance, sales, marketing, technology, operations and human resources. These professionals will be donating their time to facilitate business development in the Halton Region.
In October 2011 the Golden Horseshoe Venture Forum (GHVF) and Silicon Halton announced a community alliance and partnership that focused on three keys:
Both organizations have been extremely pleased with our progress to date. The Mentorship Clinic is the next step in the evolution of our community partnership. The Mentorship Clinic is designed to help local companies deal with a specific challenges or issues facing them that are causing business pain. The monthly Mentorship Clinic will pair Halton businesses with a panel of local experts who are donating their time, to diagnose and alleviate this pain.

Silicon Halton is a grass roots technology community serving people and companies in technology that live and/or work in Halton region.
Silicon Halton was founded in 2009 and has over 650 individual members representing over 240 companies.
Silicon Halton members participate in monthly meetups, networking events, special peer to peer groups and online in a private Linkedin group.
