Electric Solutions Inc will be sponsoring a showing of the new movie “The Keeper of the Keys,” winner of The Indie Fest Award for Feature Documentary.
Carolyn Finch has announced details today for the showing of the first funny award-winning self-help movie, “The Keeper of the Keys.” The film’s goal is to empower viewers by “Taking the ‘Hell’ Out of Self-help.” Finch is a professional speaker, author, and president and founder of Electrific Solutions, Inc.
“The Keeper of the Keys” stars Jack Canfield, co-creator of the “Chicken Soup for the Soul” franchise, Dr. John Gray, PhD., author of “Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus,” and Marci Shimoff, author of “Happy for No Reason,” “Love for No Reason,” and “Chicken Soup for the Woman’s Soul.” The movie also features 15 experts—personal development speakers, coaches, and authors—from as far away as the United Kingdom, each of whom share deeply personal stories of challenges, success, and overcoming adversity.
Danbury’s own Carolyn Finch (www.carolynfinch.com), one of the experts featured in the movie, will be presenting and speaking about the movie, her experience in it, and a little about what she does as a Body Language expert. Don’t miss this chance for valuable new insights, inspiration, and networking opportunities. Also, at this event there is a chance to win a gift certificate to the upscale Sabrina Style boutique (value $50) and a free Health & Wellness Consultation with Carolyn (value $75). Refreshments will be provided.
The screening of the award-winning “The Keeper of the Keys” movie will be held on Monday, August 13th, 2012 at the local dress boutique Sabrina Style (www.sabrinastyle.com) in downtown Sandy Hook. The event will begin at 7pm. Sabrina Style is located at 4 Washington Avenue, Sandy Hook, CT 06482. A $10 donation is suggested for the Women’s Center of Greater Danbury.

This entertaining movie "Takes the 'Hill' out of Self-Help."

“Ever since the success of ‘The Secret,’” Jay says, “self-help films have followed the same formula of delivering endless sound bites from dozens of ‘talking heads.’ I wanted to do something more entertaining and compelling. I think we have to engage viewers before we can empower them, and, for that, a movie needs to be funny. I believe we have accomplished exactly that.
Director Scott Cervine, of Movies from the Heart, partnered with me to help create a unique experience for ALL movie goers and a real treat for fans of personal development. ‘The Keeper of the Keys’ blends unique expert segments with a very funny fictional story.
This is a DVD worth owning. Once you see it, you’ll want to watch it again and again – and share it with friends, family, and coworkers. It delivers laughs, life lessons, and some of the most poignant moments ever captured on film."
