Top That Publishing Sign Celebrities for Launch of The Froobles Character Brand

Top That! Publishing has signed four celebrities to provide voice-overs for fully animated, interactive Apps as part of the launch of their new character brand, The Froobles. The brand will launch with 12 printed titles that will be published in September.

The vocal talents of Johnny Vaughan, Denise Van Outen, Edith Bowman and Reggie Yates will appear within the animated story sections of the iPhone, iPad and Android Apps, bringing the antics of The Froobles to life.

The Froobles are unique characters that have been brought to life by the magic of children's imaginations. Scenes created by playgroup children provide The Froobles with an ever-changing world in which they have fun adventures while learning valuable lessons along the way.

David Henderson, Managing Director said, ‘The Froobles is our first character brand that has been developed simultaneously in print and digital formats. The brand will be launched with twelve printed books in September and will be followed up with supporting Apps in the Autumn. Books-plus titles are planned for 2012 and a dedicated website: www.froobles.com is now live and will introduce the characters to children with fun educational games and activities.’
