As the 9th annual Meffys Awards approaches, MEF, the Global Community for Mobile Content and Commerce is introducing a series of videos aimed at uncovering opinion on the mobile channel. Here’s the first asking consumers what they think of the screen in the pocket.
With a deadline of July 9th, there’s still time to get your award entry in to this years awards which includes new categories: Consumer Trust and Social Responsibility & Development Awards, reflecting key focus areas for MEF in 2012 and mobile’s ever-expanding role in consumers’ lives. Other new categories include Publisher on Mobile, Life Tools App and Brand on Mobile, recognising the breadth and scale of mobile content and commerce.
Judged by an independent, international panel of journalists, academics, analysts and VCs, the Meffys are the global benchmark for measuring success and rewarding innovation in mobile content and commerce. Last year, more than 350 industry leaders from over 30 countries gathered in London to attend the Meffys, reflecting their stature as the premier global awards for the mobile content and commerce industry.
The 2012 winners will be announced at a gala dinner on 12th September 2012 at the prestigious Park Lane Hotel in Mayfair.
