VMS Contest - Who can send the most video messages

VMS is a messenger service for sending video to and from mobile phones. The technology was launched a year ago and is available for iPhone, Android and Blackberry as a free application for download. Ironroad, the company that developed VMS, is having a contest to see who can send the most video messages using the VMS app between 12:01 a.m. (EST) January 17, 2012 and 11:59 p.m. (EST), January 31, 2012. The winner will receive a cash prize of $2,500. 

Signing up is simple:

Download the VMS app on your iPhone, Blackberry and/or Android smartphone and send at least one (1) VMS message in the time period for the contest.

The winner will be determined by who has sent the most VMS messages within the prescribed time period. There is no time limit on the duration of the VMS. The winner will be announced on February 1, 2012 by email and on Twitter. 

Contest ends at 11:59 p.m. (EST) on January 31, 2012 and certain restrictions apply.

NO PURCHASE, PAYMENT OR ON-LINE SERVICE SUBSCRIPTION NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Just download the app if you have not already and starting SENDING VMS messages. "All entrants must be United States Residents." PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE AN ENTRY'S CHANCE OF WINNING. To enter, follow instructions and respond by the deadline date(s) stated, or if no deadline date is stated, by the final closing date. Each entry has an equal chance to win. Contest may be presented in conjunction with different offers sponsored or co-sponsored by Ironroad USA, Inc. (Ironroad), its subsidiaries and affiliated companies, and may be presented in conjunction with offers sponsored by different organizations. Contest may be presented in different creative presentations by different organizations. VMS send date on all mobile devices determines date of entry.  Not responsible for any damage to user's computer or cell or mobile phone devices or system or from downloading any information necessary to participate in the Contest. 1 prize of $2500 will be awarded. Winner is selected on 2/1/12 from all eligible VMS users and the winner is the user who has sent the most number of VMS messages between January 17, 2012 and January 31, 2012. Approximate numerical odds of winning are 1 in 10,000. Contest open to legal residents of the United States, its territories and possessions. Employees and members of the immediate families of employees of Ironroad, its affiliated or subsidiary companies, the presenting organizations, the judging agency, and judging agents are not eligible. Any dispute regarding submission of on-line entry will be deemed submitted by the VMS account holder. Ironroad reserves the right to terminate or modify the online portion of this Contest at any time if the Ironroad online service is no longer available or is compromised by any virus, bugs, or other intervention beyond Ironroad's control. In either of these events, prizes will be awarded based on VMS messages sent and received to date of termination.  All taxes are the responsibility of the winner. Prize won by a person under the age of 18 will be awarded to the winner's parent or legal guardian. Closing date of this Contest is 1/31/12 (by 11:59pm EST on 1/31/12). Winner will be notified by email (and those with known email addresses may be notified by email as well) within 30 days of the drawing and may be required to execute a Statement of Eligibility and Release and Payment Authorization within 30 days of prize notification attempt or prize may be awarded to an alternate winner.
