Swiss brand Victorinox introduces fragrance range through interactive video experience of diving into a Swiss mountain lake
The “Swiss Way of Freshness” is an interactive 360° video experience by Swiss brand Victorinox, producers of the world famous pocket knives. Shot in a Swiss lake, the movie’s perspective can be altered by the viewer to encapsulate the experience of a brisk lake swim. The video also gives viewers the chance to order a free fragrance sample to be delivered to any postal address in the UK, Switzerland, Germany or France, and win a trip to the beautiful region in Switzerland where the video was filmed.
The “Swiss Way of Freshness” has been created to introduce Victorinox fragrances to a wider public in a beautiful and creative way. Swimming in the virtual lake creates a refreshing and cool feeling that is similar to the sensation summonded by Victorinox’s range of fragrances. The viewer is invited to take a minute or two to escape the daily grind and enjoy an exhilarating moment in a beautiful, natural setting.
Let Victorinox take you there- Win a Swiss adventure
Inspired by the movie, viewers actually have the chance to win a trip to visit the beautiful Swiss region where it was shot. Those who order a fragrance sample from the movie will automaticaly be entered into a sweepstake to win a weekend in the design hotel Signina in Flims Laax, near Lake Cauma, which is the lake featured in the video.

About the campaign
How do you communicate a fragrance online? This question was central to the concept of the campaign. The decision to create a 360° movie aims to merge interaction and the breathtaking landscape into a near-physical experience to trigger the feeling of well-being and freshness as exemplified by Victorinox Fragrances. To extend the reach of the product, Victorinox invites viewers to order a free sample and experience the fragrance for themselves. The movie was produced by the award winning Dutch company Yellowbird, with concept and realisation done by PANORAMA3000, Berlin and coUNDco, Zürich. The Europe-wide promotion is carried out by The Box Network Europe, a network of independent social media agencies.
