If you could ask the MD of a major brand like Porsche, Lamborghini or BMW, what would it be? Well, you best get your thinking caps on becasue on July 28th you have that very opportunity.
Kevin Gaskell, has led all three of those iconic brands and will be speaking at a charity dinner in North Wales, in July.
Organised by FSB Member's, Mick and Jan Brady, the dinner will mark the 12 month anniversary of DAS Resilience, a monthly orienteering competition that they run through their business, Denbigh Army Surplus.
The "Resilience Dinner" will have a small awards ceremony for previous winners of the competition, but it's main focus is to raise money for the North East Wales Search and Rescue Team, NEWSAR.
Kevin will talk about how he was able to draw on his skills(planning, decision making, the competition, belief and determination) as a successful business man helped him during the gruelling moments of his Polar and mountaineering expeditions.
The Charity Dinner will be held at the Village Hotel in Ewloe on 28th July 2012
Ticket holders will enjoy a 3 course meal, awards ceremony and guest speaker.
The Resilience Dinner offers a unique opportunity to North Wales Businesses; a chance to listen to and talk with one of the Worlds most successful business leaders.
Tables of 10 are available at a reduced rate and also corporate packages for local businesses. Treble 9 Group have already sponsored the Resilience award.
Keep an eye out for a profile piece, on Kevin Gaskell, in the Business Pages of the Daily post very soon.
To have someone of Kevin's experience talk at the event is fantastic. A real opportunity for local businesses to hear from someone that's doing it, on a global scale.
I was really excited that Kevin asked to speak before the meal too; he wants there to be enough time for people to come and talk to him. How often will a chance like that happen to small business owners?
