Who do you want to make famous a Second Daim Around?

Do you want Kavana to ‘Make You Feel Good’ again? Or have girl band Cleopatra coming back at ya? The choice is yours thanks to a promotion for chocolate brand, Daim, which is asking the nation to decide which 90’s celebrity should have the chance to be famous for a Second Daim Around and star in an online advert for the new Double Daim bar.

Kavana, Cleopatra and Rowetta are just some of the 90Â’s stars who have submitted audition clips so far for the Second Daim Around campaign. Until Friday 14th August the great British public can view all auditions and vote for their favourite at www.facebook.com/seconddaimaround. The second, and final, stage of voting will take place on the Galaxy FM website between 17th and 28th August with the winner being announced on Saturday 29th August 2009! As well as auditions from some well loved 90Â’s faces, the campaign is also attracting attention from other stars.

So if youÂ’re a fan of a 90Â’s band, TV personality, act or anyone who had a moment of glory in the 90s who youÂ’d love to see back on our screens, you can post your views at www.facebook.com/seconddaimaround and who knows - it might just encourage them to enter! Entries from celebrities wanting to star in the online advert will be accepted up until midnight on Friday 14th August to [email protected]

“We are all waiting with bated breath to find out which celebrity the British public will choose to appear in our new online advert. The Harry Enfield DAIM ads were a huge success for us in the 90s, and going back to this era and embracing the trend for nostalgia marketing is hugely exciting,” says Jane Furze, Daim Marketing Manager. To coincide with the launch of the new Double Daim bar, the ad campaign will be hitting the virtual world in October.
