Dreams Searches for a Bedroom Fit for a Queen

Children aged 10 and under are encouraged to design a fabulous bedroom to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee, to be in with a chance of winning £500 to spend on children’s bedroomfurniture, suitably fit for princes and princesses. The launch comes alongside the introduction of a whole new range of children’s bedroom furniture including the delightful ‘Alice’ range fit for the little princess, or the versatile ‘Snoop’ collection for the lively little prince.

The competition runs from 29May to 12June and welcomes designers in the making to get creative and craft the Crown Jewels of bedrooms which would make our Queen proud. Each entry is submitted through their parents or friends blog and one lucky winner will take home the top prize.

Lynn Hayzelden, Marketing Director of Dreams Beds, said: “We’re really excited to be offering this competition as a way to celebrate this once in a lifetime event with our nation. It’s great to get children involved in such a special event and should keep them busy over the half term holidays! We’re looking forward to seeing lots of creative masterpieces.”

Design a bedroom fit for the Queen; it must include a bed, the rest is up to the designer

Take a photo if the design has been created or scan and upload the little designer’s creation to a blog

Tweet Dreams Beds partners @britbloggers with the hashtag #Queensize to inform them of each entry

All entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges, including top mummy blogger Pippa from A Mother’s Ramblings. Entries will be judged on imagination and how much the design makes the judges smile.
