MindGames, headquartered in Reykjavik, Iceland, released Tug of Mind in December 2010, for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. Tug of Mind helps players to learn to manage their mindset during personal confrontations in real life.
In December 2010, MindGames, LLC released Tug of Mind, the first iPhone app in the world which players control using a brainwave headset which is available and affordable to the mass market.
Designed for iPhone and the NeuroSky MindWave Mobile (or, alternatively, the PLX XWave), Tug of Mind is a fun, unusual challenge which requires the player to develop his ability to voluntarily relax under pressure in order to win a mental tug-of-war against an opponent chosen from his real life. The secret to winning may be surprising you must realize that you are not really playing against your opponent, but against an image of that opponent which you have created in your own mind!
How it works:
Take a headshot of a person from your life who leaves you feeling stressed, annoyed, off-center. Record a phrase which you feel that person is always saying to you, or thinking when facing you. Start the challenge, in which you must react to your angry, yelling opponent by relaxing to win! Your brainwave headset will record from the electric field given off by your brain and send information about your level of relaxation to Tug of Mind, which will in turn affect how your opponent behaves.
Tug of Mind can help you learn to keep your calm and positive attitude during intimidating or confrontational situations such as:
Example 1 - Customer Service: Dealing with hostile customers is as inescapable as it is unpleasant, for people in customer service professions. Let yourself, or your staff, model hostile customers' behavior using Tug of Mind.Learn to pull the customer's state of mind up to yours, rather than letting their state of mind pull yours down!
Example 2 - In the office: Oppressive boss? Intimidating co-worker? Load that person into Tug of Mind and start changing the dynamic at work!
Example 3 - Dating: Use Tug of Mind to help you develop a habit of being relaxed around that special someone...
Example 4 - Bullying: Overcome your fear of a bully by using Tug of Mind to help you learn to stay cool. What is a bully without a victim?
Ultimately, you will be surprised at how much you can transform difficult situations - by changing your own mind!
Tug of Mind, the first iPhone app which players control with their minds using the NeuroSky MindWave Mobile or PLX XWave brainwave headsets, was released in December, 2010 and is now available on the App Store for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

MindGames LLC, headquartered in Reykjavik, Iceland, is a pioneering developer of experiences which are controlled with the mind via portable consumer brain-computer interface devices: the NeuroSky MindWave Mobile, or PLX Devices' XWave. Although these consumer mass-market interfaces are cutting-edge, the science and technology behind them, electroencephalography, has been in use and development since 1924.
