Have you ever played and lost a tug-of-mind? If you are human, the answer is yes: you’ve let someone else’s state of mind pull yours along with it. MindGames’ Tug of Mind gives you the chance to replay that game on your own time and win!
Designed for iPhone and the NeuroSky MindSet, Tug of Mind pits you against any opponent you choose from real life. Choose a photograph, and turn it into an angry, lifelike 3D head, courtesy of Digimi. Put words in its mouth by recording a phrase. Then turn that frown upside down using the power of your mind! As you relax, the NeuroSky MindSet sends your brainwaves to change the mood of your opponent from stern to smiling. Three difficulty levels plus an infinite choice of opponents adds up to a lot of gameplay! Do you have what it takes to win a Tug of Mind?
Tug of Mind: coming soon to the iTunes App Store.
Tug of Mind was debuted at the Game Developers' Conference in San Francisco, 9-13 March 2010! Tug of Mind was available to play over three days at MindGames' kiosk in the NeuroSky booth, and at Digimi's kiosk at the Unity booth.

"MindGames' Tug of Mind is the beginning of a new gaming genre, in which brain-computer interfaces and games are united to produce entertainment with benefits. MindGames' Mind Training games and Digimi photo-realistic avatars from DAZ 3D-Gizmoz bring virtual and real worlds closer together to impact people's lives in powerful ways. We are excited to see our unique 3D facial modeling technology employed for a fun and positive purpose in Tug of Mind."
Eyal Gever, President DAZ 3D-Gizmoz
Of the 140,000 iPhone apps, Tug of Mind is the first to use real EEG to influence gameplay. A highly innovative cocktail party conversation app with a legitimate mind training benefit, it speaks volumes of the work that is coming out of MindGames. It is a perfect manifestation of their management team's education in games and neuroscience.

Featured in the Christmas 2009 edition of EDGE magazine along with other up-and-coming Icelandic game development companies, MindGames makes videogames that you control with your mind. Fun! But there's more: you'll feel more relaxed and focused each time you play, and over time, you will be able to relax and focus whenever you want. That's what we call Mind Training.
MindGames' team is dedicated to making games with benefits: games which offer players great playing experiences while having the side effect of enabling players to self-train in desirable skills and knowledge.
