Scottish tourism guide exclusively for the visitors
The Scottish Tourism Week is all set to unfurl from the 1st-8th of March, 2010 and Scots are looking forward to celebrating this week with much anticipation.
Scottish Tourism Week 2010 - At a glance: Theme: Delivering for Scotland. Aim: Spreading awareness throughout Scotland that tourism is its most sustainable industry. Organisers: Scottish Tourism Forum. Highlights: (a) STW Conference Delivering for Scotland, and (b) Industry Dinner to commemorate the tourism industrys achievements
The Scottish Tourism Forum, organizers of the event also happen to be the ones behind the evolution of the idea Scottish Tourism Week. Initiated in the year 2006, the purpose behind the idea was to make all sectors of people in Scotland-private, public and elected- work towards the positive agenda of bringing Scotland tourism to the forefront. The idea had been well-received and the Scotland Tourism Week is now in its fifth year.
